Job Overview

About the Role

  • You will assess and identify students with speech and language needs, developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support individual students.
  • You will provide consultancy and training to school staff on effective speech and language strategies, ensuring comprehensive support for students.
  • You will monitor and evaluate the progress of interventions, adapting strategies as needed to create an inclusive environment that supports communication development.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (e.g., relevant degree and/or membership in a professional body) is essential.
  • Proven experience in working with children in an educational setting, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills, is highly desirable.
