Account Director - Public Sector

We are seeking a skilled sales professional to lead our Public Sector London team and introduce Stone's extensive Public Sector portfolio to new prospects while growing our existing customer base.

This role is pivotal in managing key accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting Stone Group's strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building customer databases and achieving sales targets, with experience in Local and Central Government entities in the non-education public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and expand customer account base.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for short, medium, and long-term business goals.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting and manage customer data.
  • Oversee relationships with key customers and support the sales team with insights and information sharing.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide additional support as needed.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Full driving license.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Business Development or External Sales role.
  • Proven experience in building customer databases and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data sets.
  • Experience with Local and Central Government entities in the non-education public sector.
