Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with a wide range of clients delivering best practice Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, Risk, Change, Resource and Performance Management Solutions.

As a Project Controls Specialist with a Planning bias, you will be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful accomplishment of project objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience using controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, Microsoft Office Applications, and strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.

This role involves collating progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6, preparing monthly reports measuring progress against baseline, and supporting the Project Controls Manager on governance & assurance of Project Controls processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  1. A qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment.
  2. Experience of working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects, programmes or portfolios.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts.
