About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ESG Sustainability Analyst to join our successful ESG team at Inspired PLC. As an ESG Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of ESG disclosures to our industrial, commercial, and public sector customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • ESG Disclosure Support: Assist in conducting data analysis and report production in the delivery of strategic ESG and reporting services, focusing on TCFD, Climate Scenarios, CDP, and other ESG Disclosure frameworks.
  • Client Strategy Development: Support the ESG team in creating effective client strategies for setting and achieving ambitious carbon reduction targets and other ESG impacts.
  • Client Solutions Development: Support the development of client solutions to develop ESG services and ensure they remain market leading as this market evolves.
Requirements
  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive attitude, with integrity and strong self-motivation.
  • Attention to Detail: Show attention to detail and ability to proactively research complex subjects and form succinct conclusions and recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Possess effective face-to-face communication skills with a professional approach.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate ability to support processing complex technical data and concepts into client-ready information.
  • Technical Skills: Be an advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite and have strong report writing capabilities.
  • Education: Hold a degree in a STEM/Humanities discipline or equivalent professional experience.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Consultancy Experience: 2+ years of experience in consultancy or analytical roles, focusing on ESG, carbon, or broader environmental management.
  • ESG Knowledge: Knowledge of energy efficiency and renewable energy technology and carbon offset mechanisms, and how they contribute to decarbonization.
