About the Role

At Amazon Operations, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our team of Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technicians plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond quickly to equipment failures, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Manage contractors and ensure that maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards.

Requirements

  1. Hold a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  2. Have experience of planned preventative maintenance systems and be able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  3. Be multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines and have experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, and sortation machines.
  4. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
