Reliability Maintenance Engineer

At Amazon, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global warehouse and delivery network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • React quickly to equipment failures, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Support and learn from senior reliability engineering technicians to develop skills and expertise.
  • Manage contractors and ensure that maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
Requirements:
  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems, electrical and mechanical disciplines, and conveyor maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and work with a range of equipment, including sortation machines and print and apply machines.
