Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Young Person Accommodation Worker to join our Supported Accommodation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting young people in their transition to independent living, providing proactive support to help them develop skills and confidence necessary for independent living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, assessing their needs and agreeing a plan for support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals to achieve agreed goals and objectives.
  • Carry out home visits across the city, ensuring flexible working arrangements.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with young people, particularly those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
  • A strong commitment to supporting individuals in their journey to independence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will also enjoy a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a contributory pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
