Job Title: Tutor for Student with ASD

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to work with a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 basis. The student will be working on their GCSE pathway in a home environment, and the successful candidate will provide support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 tuition to the student, focusing on their GCSE studies
  • Work with the student's parent to ensure a collaborative approach to their education
  • Support the student in developing their learning skills and strategies
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Understand and implement Safeguarding procedures to ensure the student's well-being
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an educational environment
  • Proven track record of working 1:1 with students
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs
