Job Title: Conference and Events Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conference and Events Supervisor to join our team at The Celtic Manor Resort. As a Conference and Events Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of events across the department, ensuring that the highest standards of service are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the organisation of events, including conferences, weddings, and banquets
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of events
  • Manage event budgets and ensure cost control
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel or event management company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High standards of presentation and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations and event management principles
