Job Title: Education Support Assistant
">About the Job:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Support Professional to join our team. As an education support assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in a secondary school setting.
Responsibilities:
- To assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation
- To provide one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help
- To contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
- To be flexible and able to work well under pressure
- To have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and pupils
- To have a basic understanding of the National Curriculum and any relevant educational policies
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work on a supply basis within a variety of secondary schools across Shropshire. The hours of work will vary depending on the needs of the schools, but typically will be 8.50am-3.10pm, Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour
