About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our team at our residential service in Port Talbot. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional person-centred care to our residents with complex needs and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the manager in providing excellent care to residents, including monitoring practices, care plans, and rota support.
  • Work collaboratively with the registered manager and experienced staff teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Support residents in their daily activities, including coffee mornings, theatre trips, and themed weekends.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Previous care experience essential
  • Level 3 health and social care qualification desirable but not essential
  • Diplomatic and solution-focused outlook
  • Excellent teamwork skills
