Key Responsibilities- Maintain and continuously improve data centre infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Adopt, configure, and maintain third-party products to support overall service delivery, considering factors such as security, cost, and functionality.
- Evaluate and improve processes and methods of working to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Provide high-quality infrastructure support to employees and customers, including attending meetings and providing on-call support as needed.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure infrastructure capability and processes align with their needs and strategic goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying new knowledge to process design and advocating for standards adoption.
- Ensure infrastructure capability meets required information security standards, such as ISO 27001, and demonstrate conformity.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the team.
- Strong understanding of HPE and Cisco network hardware.
- Knowledge and experience in firewall configuration and management.
- Experience in managing VMware and Linux operating systems, ideally RedHat.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and anti-malware solutions.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database and MS SQL.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
- Ability to analyze and communicate with customers regarding technical domains.
- Experience leading technology implementations and guiding colleagues in deploying new solutions.
- Ability to proactively challenge solution designs to reach optimal outcomes.
