About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and personable Night Worker to join our team at Caring for Communities and People. As a Night Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents in our supported accommodation building in Yate.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the building is safe and secure for residents, including undertaking health and safety checks and walk-arounds throughout your shift.
  2. Liaise with support staff to ensure a good flow of information between shifts through handovers.
  3. Engage with residents who may need someone to listen to them, demonstrating empathy and patience towards our residents.
  4. Undertake light maintenance duties to keep the building clean, tidy, and presentable.

Requirements

  • Experience in interacting with a diverse cross section of society would be useful, but this is not essential as training and induction will be given.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement to resolve situations and seek support from peers and emergency services if needed.
