Job Title: European IT Server Administrator

Graphic Packaging International - Europe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Server Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our server systems and networks, ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain server systems and networks
  • Install and configure server hardware, operating systems, and applications
  • Diagnose and solve technical and applications problems
  • Provide support and administer production server infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the Systems Support team throughout Europe and corporate IT staff in the USA
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of computer/server hardware
  • Experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows OS, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server OS
  • Experience with server infrastructure, including VMware, HyperV, and Cisco Hyperflex/HCI
  • Experience with Azure and cloud technologies
  • Experience with ITIL ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of Office and Office365
  • User management and Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
  • Managing File and Print servers, application servers, and production systems
  • Network skills, including switching and Wi-Fi
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with native language and English
  • Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • 3+ years of working experience in a similar role
