Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, procurement, and contract negotiation, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cost estimation and budgeting strategies for construction projects.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to ensure project financial efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure best value for the company.
- Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation to minimize the risk of non-compliance.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met and exceeded.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
