About the Role

This Senior Quantity Surveyor position involves managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation for construction projects in the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  2. Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project targets.
  4. Monitor and maintain accurate records of project cash flows and expenditures.
  5. Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with construction projects.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
  • A valid UK driving license.
