About the Role

We are seeking a Prison Education Specialist to join our team at HMP Five Wells in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our education staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality level 1 Health and Safety courses to learners.

The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification and experience teaching Health and Safety courses. However, we also welcome applicants with relevant experience who are committed to completing their teaching qualification within the first year of employment.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Health and Safety courses to groups of up to 15 learners.
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum content.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress and course delivery.
