School Business Manager

At Futures, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Business Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a school in the Cheshire West area and contribute to the success of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school's business functions, including financial management, health and safety, human resources, compliance, and administration.
- Leadership and Management: Line-manage site and administration support staff, ensuring effective long-term resource planning, recruitment, appraisal, and professional development.
- Staff Absence and Compliance: Maintain accurate staff absence data and ensure the school's compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing necessary processes and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Statutory Obligations: Manage the school's compliance with statutory obligations and provide guidance on relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
- Policies and Procedures: Track and update all school policies in accordance with the policy review schedule.
You will need:
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and management experience in a school or relevant field, with a strong track record of achieving successful outcomes.
- Technical Skills: Experience in using financial and administrative software to support business operations.
- Commitment to Excellence: A commitment to striving for the best outcomes for all pupils and acting with integrity, honesty, loyalty, and fairness to safeguard the school's assets, financial probity, and reputation.
