About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in improving the mental health and well-being of children and young people within education settings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical supervision and support to EMHPs, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.
  2. Drive the implementation and evaluation of mental health programs in schools, aligning with local and national priorities.
  3. Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions for children and young people, addressing low to moderate mental health issues using approaches like CBT.
  4. Facilitate training sessions for school staff and parents to boost mental health awareness and effective support strategies.
  5. Act as the primary contact between schools, health services, and external agencies, offering expert guidance and fostering collaboration.
Requirements
  1. Qualified EMHP with extensive mental health experience.
  2. Strong understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working.

Main Duties of the Job
  1. Providing management and clinical supervision to EMHPs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions, upholding safeguarding procedures.
  2. Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health initiatives within schools, aligning with local and national policies.
  3. Delivering targeted therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and families, focusing on low to moderate mental health issues, using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based practices.
  4. Designing and delivering training sessions for school staff, parents, and other stakeholders on mental health awareness and strategies to support students' well-being.
  5. Acting as a key point of contact between schools, health services, and external agencies, providing expert advice on mental health issues and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  6. Overseeing the collection and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and services, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
