About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Safety and Communications business, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting equipment to customers, ensuring safe and professional vehicle operation, and promoting the positive image of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect equipment to customers, completing relevant checks and administration.
  • Ensure safe and professional vehicle operation, conducting vehicle safety checks.
  • Issue safety and communication equipment and materials to clients onsite.
  • Demonstrate safety equipment in operation to customers during delivery.
  • Diagnose and fix equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to and promote Health and Safety and compliance of equipment standards.
  • Maintain effective relationships with the Operations team.
  • Undertake pre-hire checks and functionality tests to support the branch with workloads.
  • Raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude.
  • Ensure all reporting and administration is completed in line with Company standards.
  • Achieve all key performance indicators in a fast-changing and busy environment.
  • Maintain Company standards while working under pressure, ensuring safe operation.
  • Responsible for promoting all Sunbelt Rentals services and benefits to clients and ensuring additional revenue.
  • Work with Operations to resolve customer issues promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned.
  • Conduct audit and compliance tasks.
