Job Summary:

We are seeking a Pharmacist Service Manager to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality services in the Integrated Care Operations (ICO) service.

The role requires strong clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in project management and leadership. The successful candidate will work closely with the Medicine and Emergency Services pharmacy team to develop, implement, maintain, and improve new services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate and participate in day-to-day clinical pharmacy services to the ICO services team and attend relevant huddles and handover meetings.
  • To work with the ICO services team on projects to develop, implement, maintain, and improve new services.
  • To contribute to audits, service development, and quality improvement projects to existing systems and processes.

What We Offer:

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Masters of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
  • Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a dedicated clinical pharmacist practitioner.
  • Substantial post-registration experience.
  • Six years post-registration with the GPhC.
  • Diploma or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy.
  • Independent prescriber registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
