Camberley, Surrey, United Kingdom Consensus Full time

About Consensus

We're a community of amazing people dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our mission is to provide exceptional care that truly changes lives.

Role: Support Worker

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities. You'll work across various shift patterns, including early, late, weekend, or night shifts, and will be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes colleague wellbeing.

Your Benefits

  • We're a certified Great Place to Work, offering a range of benefits, including a career ladder, learning and development opportunities, and financial benefits.
  • You'll receive life assurance, access to discounts from over 150 retailers, and a confidential employee assistance programme.
  • We prioritize colleague wellbeing, with dedicated wellbeing support, mental health first aiders, and a focus on work-life balance.

Your Service

Our supported living service in Camberley offers private flats with support always on-hand to help with daily living, home maintenance, or working towards personal goals. Each flat is decorated by the person living there, with consideration for sensory needs or preferences.

Next Steps

  • Our dedicated in-house recruitment team will call to share more about the role.
  • The next step will be an interview in the service, where you'll meet the team and the people we support.
  • If successful, we'll organise your Free DBS Check and references prior to confirming your start date.
  • Your journey will then begin with a 3-day online induction, before heading to the service to get started.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and no experience is needed. You may be new to care, or already have experience in the social care sector or NHS. As long as you come with a person-centred approach, a caring nature, and a commitment to working as part of a team to support disabled and autistic people – then we're here to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to succeed.
