About the Role
Melody Care is a leading provider of home care services, dedicated to delivering personalized care that enhances the quality of life for clients. As a Reablement Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals in their own homes, helping them regain confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with Daily Tasks
- Assist clients with mobility, making food and drinks, personal care, housework, and shopping.
- Empower clients to do as much as they can for themselves.
- Health and Wellbeing
- Monitor health issues or deterioration and ensure access to appropriate help when needed.
- Support independence and facilitate access to healthcare professionals for effective pain management.
- Support Planning
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess care needs.
- Aid clients in living as independently as possible once their reablement care concludes.
Requirements
- A vehicle with a current, clean driving license, MOT, and insurance covering 'Business purposes.'
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication with a common-sense approach and non-judgmental attitude.
