Education Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for an Education Support Worker to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in or near Camberley. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, calm nature, and be happy to use own initiative and get involved. They will also be kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities, happy to take on coaching and training, and have previous experience working with SEN children (preferred). A valid DBS on the update service is required, or be willing to apply for one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers and other education professionals in the classroom
  • Assisting with the care and well-being of children with special educational needs
  • Providing individualized support to students as needed
  • Participating in training and coaching to develop skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Calm nature and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative and get involved
  • Kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities
  • Previous experience working with SEN children (preferred)
  • Valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
