Job Title: Head of Academy Coaching and Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Academy Coaching and Development team. As Head of Academy Coaching and Development, you will be responsible for the long-term development of coaches and players within our Academy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of our Academy's Coaching Curriculum, ensuring it aligns with our Playing Philosophy and Coaching Philosophy.
  • Design and deliver our continued professional development programme, utilizing internal and external professionals.
  • Provide regular feedback to coaches to aid their development, observing their performance during training and match days.
  • Ensure all coaches are qualified as per Youth Development rules and that our safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Work with our Lead Phase Coaches to ensure consistency in coaching messages and programmes.
Requirements:
  • FA Advanced Youth Award
  • FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • D1 Minibus Driving License
  • Previous Academy coaching experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP)
