Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a technical bias to manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients across the South of England for a leading manufacturer of industrial weighing equipment.

This is a full-time, permanent role based from an office near Taunton, Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm. You will visit clients as required and attend meetings at their head office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of order fulfilment from processing to delivery notes, quoting, and following up on customer enquiries and internal referrals.
  • Grow and develop existing accounts by upselling equipment, servicing, repairs, and upgrades in various industries such as manufacturing, logistics, engineering, chemical, food, and recycling.
  • Manage customer relationships, including pricing negotiations, contracts, and agreements to maximize profit, working closely with the Commercial Manager to create commercial strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in internal sales with a technical bias.
  • Excellent telephone manner and proficiency in Microsoft packages.
