About the Role:
As the Site Manager, you will oversee the site team and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers. You will ensure projects meet all required safety, quality, and environmental standards. Additionally, you will manage the site budget and ensure financial targets are achieved. You will also liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities, and monitor and report on the progress of works to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the site team and coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure projects meet all required safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Manage the site budget and ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
- Monitor and report on the progress of works to senior management.
Requirements:
We are looking for a Site Manager with proven experience in residential and commercial construction, ideally with exposure to social housing projects. You should have a strong understanding of construction processes and technical knowledge, including new build flats, townhouses, and mixed-use schemes. Additionally, you should have a full understanding of health and safety regulations (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid qualifications preferred).
