About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Atlas Workplace Services in London.

  • Part-time position with 15 hours per week
  • Working week: Monday to Friday, 18:00-21:00
  • Rate: £14.70 per hour

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing effective delivery and supervision of site-based cleaning operations to the standards expected by our clients. You will ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with the Site Cleaning Manual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the site, including dusting and cleaning of office surfaces, reception areas, and meeting rooms
  • Clean the office kitchen area, microwaves, refrigerators, and vacuum all carpeted areas
  • Mop all hard floor surfaces and wash all crockery and utensils, including the filling and emptying of the dishwasher
  • Spot clean any stains on the carpet and ensure the cleaning cupboard remains clean and tidy
  • Ensure all members of the on-site cleaning team work safely in accordance with QSHE guidelines and COSHH policy
  • Monitor stock of products and condition of equipment and inform your Line Manager/Supervisor of any products/equipment that requires replenishing/replacing
  • Inform your Line Manager/Supervisor of any defects noticed on site
  • Ensure that all work is carried out safely in accordance with Company and Governmental policy
  • Observe all Client and company statutory fire and health and safety regulations
  • Accompany Salisbury Management and Client on Monthly Cleaning Audits to ensure that standards are achieved
About You

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor with a proven track record in this type of work. You will have a basic knowledge of the use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals and a basic knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring that all contractual and personnel training and development needs are addressed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the highest professional standards and ensuring a quality approach towards our clients.

  • Operate within agreed operational and/or management guidelines
  • Work within the limits of the Salisbury Corporate Governance
  • Freedom to escalate any H&S issues to Salisbury/Mapeley level in the event of serious concerns and to liaise with Salisbury's Head of Health & Safety
