Rail Cleaning Site Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Rail Cleaning Site Supervisor to oversee our operations for a major rail client. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of cleaning activities and maintaining high standards across all sites.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive training and support to cleaners and supervisors, including HSEQ, machinery, and specification-related training. Maintain accurate records of all training activities.
- Supervise cleaning teams to ensure adherence to established cleaning protocols and work standards. Identify and address any issues promptly, communicating them to the Account Manager.
- Conduct regular site audits to assess cleaning performance and identify areas for improvement. Generate detailed reports and share them with the Account Manager weekly.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager in identifying staffing needs and supporting the recruitment process through interviews.
- Lead monthly toolbox talks and staff meetings to reinforce safety protocols, address concerns, and foster a positive work environment.
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of verifiable work history in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of COSHH, H&S, and IOSH regulations.
- A strong commitment to upholding Churchill's values and contributing to its overall success.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in adhering to manual handling and health and safety guidelines.
