About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Absolute Taste. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and expectations of our clients, ensuring consistency and quality in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Event Support: Provide culinary support for events and functions, working closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, team leadership, and inventory management.
  • Education: A culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and presentation. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
