The International Association of Film and Television Schools invites applications for an Academic Senior Lecturer position in cinematography. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide valuable teaching for students at one of the best film schools in the world.

Job Summary

This permanent, part-time post is responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning support
  • Evaluating student performance
  • Contributing to curriculum development as a member of the Camera Department
  • Mentoring students as a personal tutor
  • Participating in the student recruitment process
  • Enhancing professional practice
  • Managing academic administration to deliver teaching

We seek a candidate with:

  • Expertise and teaching experience in cinematography at the tertiary level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with students and colleagues
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and nurture student creativity

Successful candidates will be rewarded with an estimated annual salary of £35,000 (pro rata) and 30 days holiday pro rata, plus contributory pension.
