Sales and Marketing Manager Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to head up the Sales and Marketing division at Castle View Personnel. The successful candidate will lead a small team, managing all aspects of sales functions across this diverse business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Sales and Marketing team ensuring a continuity of customer service, product packages, and individual offerings.
  • Develop sales systems to ensure the accurate collection of customer information and recommend technology support to better aid the sales process.
  • Work with other Heads of Department to develop different business models with differing price points and service models for the sale and delivery of different products.
  • Experience in a management role of at least a couple of staff, basic experience of bookkeeping and accounts, and highly developed computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with sales platforms and integrated hotel booking and management systems, specifically working with Booking.
  • Commercial acumen, experience of staff management and development, and experience of working with different IT sales systems and website development.

Requirements:

  • At least a couple of years of experience in a management role.
  • Basic experience of bookkeeping and accounts.
  • Highly developed computer literacy and high competence in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as Google applications.
  • Familiarity with sales platforms and integrated hotel booking and management systems.
  • Commercial acumen, experience of staff management and development, and experience of working with different IT sales systems and website development.
