Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research and Development Assistant to support the smooth running of our Research and Development department. The successful candidate will work closely with the R&D manager, nursing and medical staff to ensure we are able to offer the latest treatment options to our residents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, IT, and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple systems. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with administrative and reporting tasks, monitoring the progress of trials, and supporting the promotion of R&D activities.

This is a great opportunity to work in a different area of healthcare and be part of a small developing team. The post holder will need to have a strong commitment to equality and diversity, and be able to work in a way that respects the rights of all individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the R&D manager in the day-to-day running of the department
  • Ensure compliance with administrative and reporting tasks
  • Monitor the progress of trials and provide regular updates
  • Support the promotion of R&D activities and work with colleagues to increase engagement with research trials
  • Work with multiple systems and have excellent IT skills
