About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Agile Delivery Director to join our team at Anson McCade. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of software projects within our Digital Banking Innovation Practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the software delivery lifecycle and project methodology, governance, and best practices to ensure alignment with centrally defined standards, principles, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with application and infrastructure teams, as well as third-party vendors, to deliver projects within budget and timeframe.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure project success.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure adherence to software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Significant project management experience, specifically within software delivery, with a proven track record of success.
  • Project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or Agile, with experience managing a portfolio of projects (£500k-£2m per annum) in a complex organization.
  • Experience in software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experience of delivering projects in an onshore and offshore development model.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence tools.
  • Project management experience within a financial establishment.
  • Experience using the full Microsoft Office suite.
