Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Craftsman to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our building services, plant, and equipment.
Main Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including fault diagnosis, repair, and calibration.
- Install new equipment and services, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Work on own initiative to resolve problems and improve maintenance processes.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Formal craft apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and preferably a Higher National Certificate of Engineering.
- Experience of fault finding on complex building services, plant, and equipment to a high level of competence.
- Knowledge of systems such as Building Management Systems, fire alarms, power systems, and infrastructure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- 28 days annual leave, rising to 34 days plus 8 bank holidays per annum.

- Desirable to speak Welsh, but Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
