Electrical Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Craftsperson to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services, plant, and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including fault diagnosis, repair, and calibration.
- Install new equipment and electrical/mechanical services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to provide emergency support.
Requirements
- Formal craft apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and preferably a Higher National Certificate of Engineering.
- Experience in fault finding on complex building services, plant, and equipment to a high level of competence.
- Knowledge of systems such as Building Management Systems, fire alarms, power systems, and infrastructure.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
