Lead PMO Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead PMO Analyst to join our team at Aegon UK. As a key member of our Digital Solutions department, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the development and ongoing management of an optimized portfolio.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with senior managers to achieve business unit strategic objectives through the delivery of projects and programs.
  • Providing supervision and guidance to PMO Analysts to ensure the effective management of project information, risks, issues, and changes.
  • Supporting senior managers within Digital Solutions by working directly with Programme Directors, Portfolio Managers, and Programme Managers to ensure accurate information is maintained and available for planning and forecasting.
  • Ensuring that risks, issues, and changes are managed effectively, and that data required to support management decision-making and forecasting is captured and reported efficiently.
  • Forecasting future demand and supply issues to enable better overall delivery of Digital Solutions Change services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation.
  • Deep understanding of Programme and Project Support, including management of programme/project risks, change control, business case, etc.
  • Expertise in the use of project management tools to manage project activity/resourcing and provide input to the overall Digital Solutions Change department planning activity.
  • Good understanding of Change structure and strategy, and how this may impact on project/programme delivery.
  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
  • Proven experience of supporting the delivery of projects is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering best practice PMO functions and services.
  • Good knowledge of governance, assurance, and analysis of MI.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience of using Portfolio Management tools.
  • Understanding and use of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
