About the Role

The Lead PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the development and transformation of abrdn's award-winning platforms. This includes providing core processes for change prioritization, planning, and delivery, as well as governance, financial reporting, status reporting, planning, resource, RAID, and benefits management.

This role will be part of the Portfolio, Programme, and Project Office team, which ensures the effective operation of portfolio management processes that underpin investment in change to achieve strategic objectives. The team also ensures that change delivery adheres to robust governance, reporting, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support key portfolio management processes, including prioritization, planning, resource capacity management, change control, and financials.
  • Support key processes required within the project/programme environment, including governance, status reporting, resource management, RAID management, financial management, and benefits management.
  • Provide quality assurance services to ensure strong governance over the change delivery process, ensuring programme/project managers adhere to the process and associated controls.
  • Work independently to develop solutions and make decisions, contributing to the development of new/improved processes and systems, and leading on the implementation of improvements in a defined area.

About the Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant academic qualification or working experience and extensive experience in similar roles.
  • Detailed understanding of PMO processes and guidelines.
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience of appropriate/relevant software and tools, including ServiceNow, Microsoft Office suite, MS Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, and DevOps.
