Senior Landscape Architect Job Opportunity

LEAD Careers is working with a multidisciplinary studio based in Edinburgh to find an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the design and delivery of complex landscape architecture projects
  • Oversee and mentor junior landscape architects and project teams, providing guidance and support throughout all project stages
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to detailed documentation, construction, and final delivery
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, presentations, and reports for planning applications and construction phases
  • Ensure compliance with planning regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards
  • Participate in business development activities, contributing to client pitches, proposals, and securing new projects
Requirements:
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
  • Proven experience in landscape architecture with a strong portfolio showcasing design and technical skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualisation software (e.g., SketchUp or similar)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines
