About the Role

At Capgemini, we are seeking an experienced Programme Management Office (PMO) Lead to join our Business and Technology Solutions team. As a PMO Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients through large-scale transformations, enabled by brilliant technology solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the programme office, ensuring the smooth running of end-to-end programmes through flexible working across various areas, including project management support, risk and issue management, and financial controls.
  • Provide project management support, including change management, risk and issue management, reporting, status tracking, and project reporting, using tools such as Clarity & Open Workbench and MS Project.
  • Track project financial management, including budgeting and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, including those related to programme management.
  • Develop and provide standard documents and tools to support programme management.

Your Skills and Experience

  • A strong track record of successful delivery in PMO roles within an IT and business change environment.
  • A background in consultancy or professional services delivery would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • A deep understanding of the impact of PMO on good project and programme management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrable experience in starting up a small PMO or elements of a larger PMO, or in rescuing an underperforming PMO.
  • Proven capability to lead junior PMO team members and guide/mentor their development.
  • A strong desire to further your own personal development through studying for ISEB qualifications in PPSO.

Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. This involves residing continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
