About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily living needs, providing emotional support and companionship along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in conversations and activities that promote social interaction
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the care team
  • Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of care
  • Contribute to the creation of personalized care plans for residents

About You

To be successful as a Care Assistant, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a warm-hearted approach. Previous experience working in care settings is essential, and you must be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
