We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Care Home in Aberdeen.

**About the Role**

  • Assist residents with daily routines, promoting independence and dignity
  • Support residents with their health and wellbeing needs, including monitoring and reporting any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager
  • Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment

**Responsibilities**

  • Empower residents to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible
  • Deliver personalized care, following each resident's tailored plan and providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs
  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells
  • Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met

**Requirements**

  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills
  • Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service
