Job Title: Senior Clinical Lead for Audiology

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Lead for Audiology to join our team at The British Academy of Audiology. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our audiology services and ensuring that we deliver high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive clinical experience in audiology, with a strong background in paediatric audiology. You will be responsible for leading our audiology team, developing and implementing new services, and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and implementation of new audiology services, including the embedding of continuous improvement across the department.
  2. Ensure the effective delivery of audiology services to nationally agreed levels of activity and quality.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clinical director, general manager, and other stakeholders to support the delivery of clinical services and the implementation of renewed processes.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in an appropriate scientific subject.
  • MSc in Clinical Audiology or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Audiological Competence / Higher Training Scheme (or equivalent).
  • ILM management / leadership qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of previous clinical leadership / line management.
