Job Title: Senior Clinical Lead for Audiology

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Lead for Audiology to join our team at The British Academy of Audiology. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our audiology services and ensuring that we deliver high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Senior Clinical Lead for Audiology will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our audiology services, working closely with our clinical director and other senior leaders to ensure that we meet our strategic objectives. You will have a strong clinical background in audiology, with experience of leading teams and managing complex projects. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of our audiology services, working closely with our clinical director and other senior leaders.
  2. Manage and lead a team of audiologists, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our audiology services are delivered in a safe and effective manner.
  4. Work closely with our clinical director and other senior leaders to ensure that we meet our strategic objectives.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare professionals and organizations to ensure that our audiology services are integrated with other healthcare services.

Person Specification:

  • Degree in an appropriate scientific subject.
  • MSc in Clinical Audiology or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Audiological Competence / Higher Training Scheme (or equivalent).
  • ILM management / leadership qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of previous clinical leadership / line management.
