Job Overview

The British Academy of Audiology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead for Paediatric Audiology Services to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our paediatric audiology services, ensuring that we provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our communities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Service Development and Leadership

Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and effectiveness of our paediatric audiology services, ensuring that we meet the needs of our patients and stakeholders.

Clinical Governance

Ensure that our paediatric audiology services are delivered in accordance with national guidelines and standards, and that we maintain a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Team Management

Lead and manage a team of audiologists and support staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care.

Communication and Collaboration

Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other organizations, to ensure that our services are integrated and coordinated with other healthcare services.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

Master's degree in Clinical Audiology or equivalent.

Experience

Significant experience in paediatric audiology, including leadership and management roles.

Skills

Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and effectiveness.

Knowledge

Up-to-date knowledge of developments in paediatric audiology, including national guidelines and standards.
