About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with individuals with a range of Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders, providing support and therapy to maximise their potential and quality of life.

Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing communication needs, implementing evidence-based therapy, and providing functional targets and recommendations to aid day-to-day communicative success. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support the implementation of the therapeutic approach across the environment.

Cambian Potterspury Lodge School is a specialist school that supports and educates students with Aspergers Syndrome and other associated challenges within the autistic spectrum. Our school offers a differentiated, engaging, and challenging curriculum, and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our students.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Knowledge of AAC approaches
