About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at CareTech Group. As a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering an SLT service and providing support to individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an SLT service to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals with communication difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic approaches
  • Conduct assessments and implement evidence-based therapy to maximize individual potential
  • Develop and maintain inclusive communication environments

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Knowledge of AAC approaches and evidence-based therapy
