IT Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Second-Line IT Support Technician to join our IT department at Advanced Medical Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced technical support to our global operations, ensuring seamless IT services across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide second-line support for complex queries escalated from the first-line team
* Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues
* Log and track issues using IT support ticketing systems
* Collaborate with the wider IT team to resolve complex issues
* Develop and maintain IT documentation and procedures
* Train and support users on new and existing IT systems and procedures
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English
* Proven experience in a second-line or similar technical support role
* Strong understanding of IT principles and ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical users
* Experience troubleshooting Windows, networking issues, and a variety of software applications
* Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT support ticketing systems
