**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory levels effectively and ensure seamless operational processes. This role involves daily monitoring of stock movements, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.

About the Role:

  • Conduct regular perpetual inventory checks to ensure stock integrity and effective housekeeping.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, generating reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Optimize stock levels by identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock and proposing solutions.
  • Maintain precise records that meet audit standards.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure accuracy in stock picking and delivery processes.
  • Review and refine inventory control procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Investigate and implement measures to prevent future inventory discrepancies.
  • Support operations with new product ranges, bins, and setups.
  • Assist and collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.

Requirements:

This role is ideal for someone with experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse environment. You should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £32,000 (GBP) per annum, plus bonus scheme post-probation.
