About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team at Arriva Rail London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting dynamic fleet decision support tools, utilizing technology and systems to better equip our Fleet Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the delivery and ongoing support of dynamic fleet decision support tools
  • Work closely with depot staff across the London Overground to ensure accurate and up-to-date data within decision support tools
  • Identify new or emerging trends that may impact fleet incident handling and support the performance team in data gathering and post-incident reviews
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Control Manager and Maintainer to identify areas for development or improvement within decision support tools

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent experience working in a Train Operating Company
  • Experience of fleet maintenance in an operational depot capacity, with strong knowledge of rolling stock and operating principles of modern Electric Multiple Unit (EMU)
  • Experience of working within Rail Industry legal framework, including group and industry standards and Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (ROGS)
